Ayr under-16s put in a gutsy performance to beat Highland RFC under-16s 19-13 and lift the National Youth League Bowl at Murrayfield on Tuesday night. Tries came from full-back Sam Gray, centre Hamish McIntosh and stand-off Johnny McCorkindale, who also landed the conversions. McIntosh was named player-of-the-match by Scotland internationalist and Glasgow Warrior Sean Lamont.
